Sorry billywiz, I think the guy you named as Bob Brewer is in fact Eddie Leach, he was A Sqn late 50s

Sorry billywiz, I think the guy you named as Bob Brewer is in fact Eddie Leach, he was A Sqn late 50s Take your word for it cobra19. It was Bob's good wife who said she thought it was him, I thought he looked a little fuller in the face than I remembered Bob (RIP)

no one has mentioned it yet, but could the standard bearer be Geordie Browell. Not sure if i've spelt it right.

no one has mentioned it yet, but could the standard bearer be Geordie Browell. Not sure if i've spelt it right. Don't think it is Geordie Browell. I do remember Geordie well, had a mustache if I remember correctly. Doubt if he is around now, last seen Fallingbostel in the 1970s he was retired then and had come over as an old comrade to celebrate Cambrai. I remember him giving me a hard time about some football that years ago used to be the centre piece at Mess Dinners. It was the football that was used when the Royal Engineers won the FA Cup; it had been put up for auction and 3RTR won the day. I did find the said football in a dusty corner of the property room. It is possible that it is still around.
