The following pictures have been supplied by Rip Kerby who served in A Squadron between 1958 &1968 before moving to the AAC. Some of the faces I recognize others perhaps you could put a name to? 3 - 'Rip' & ? Bailey 7 - ? Bailey 8- Alan 'Lefty' Wright & 'Rip' 15 - 'Farmer' Thornton tbc Not so sure it is Farmer Thorton however Bill Bailey I remember well he boxed for the regiment and if I remember correctly had his jaw broke on one occasion.

15. Yep, Farmer Bill Thornton. I remember him pulling his trousers up like that in Bruckstrasse in Brunswick in '69

He told me that Al was only about 17 in those pics, 5 years later he transferred to the REME and came out in 93.

My mistake, the pictures do not feature AL McKechnie but COLIN McKechnie. The old grey matter is slowly fading to white. Apologies to Colin, Al and anyone I might have misled.

Rip Kerby lives on a barge that spends it time when not traveling the waterways tied up on the Sharpness canal,Gloucestershire. I have a telephone number if required.
