Brig.P Vaux was my CO in the 6th but Junior Ward was something else! I remember when he was RSM and we were on an adjutants parade one sat. morning and he marched along the front of the regt about 20 yards out and shouted," Cpl so and so,your collar dogs are the wrong way round" They weren't of course but it didn't half impress the more gullible blokes.

Junior Ward? Capt A. T. Ward when I joined in 66 was QM Tech. His daughter Janice was quite nice.

By my reckoning he would be 88 or so now. Is he still with us or has he gone to the green fields?

Yes he's still going. Wife passed away about 2009/10. Lives in Lincoln. Last time I seen him was at the 2nd 3rd 6th Blackpool Reunion
