I can name the people for you but I have no idea what the celebration was.Dickie Mertens,Jack Moreton (RIP),Billy whizz,Brian Turner,Bob Brewer and Jim Lodge and their wives are all in the group.Hope this helps.

Yes correct it was Jack Mortons(RIP) farewell in Fally 1972 I remember my first C Sqn Bar night in Fally 76. Jack treated me to his 20min rendition of napalm...kids....horrors of war. He had me...and himself in tears. When I saw his No 2s my eyes fair popped out me swede ...........his medals including 'Nam' etc needed a stick a foot from his side to prop the suckers up. Really good bloke sadly missed, he just had to be in my book, for those who knew him, I hope I captured his spirit!! RIP for a good man.

I knew all these blokes well and on a coach trip to Germany some years ago I was sitting behind Jack Moreton and he kept pestering me to be my financial adviser.Wouldn't shut up so I changed seats!!
