The Active Service Medal
The Active Service Medal has been produced by the manufacturers of the Golden Jubilee Medal for all those men and women who have seen active service - a commemorative medal for Veterans of the British & Commonwealth Forces who participated in World War II, Korea, Malaya, Suez, etc - in fact any active service up to the present day.
SSAFA Forces Help is delighted to endorse this medal, which is being produced on behalf of Mr George Harris of Haverford west, Dyfed. Thanks to Mr Harris' continuing generosity SSAFA Forces Help will benefit financially from the sale of the Active Service Medals with all profits being ploughed back into the association.
We know it will bring much pleasure to those who decide to purchase it. However, such commemorative medals as these, should never be worn in line with issue medals, but below them or on the right breast by next of kin.
