I've just spent a week in Pembrokeshire. Reminded me of the time spent at Castlemartin in June 1968 for annual firing. I spent a lazy fortnight doing very little in the RHQ office, while the new converts to armoured cars went through bouncing a few shells off targets on the range. At the gates to the camp there are a Chieftain and a Leopard. Quite a lot of main arm, machine gun and small arms fire going on during the week. Any of you old sweats there in '68?
