Hi I was in' 9' troop 'c ' squaron 3rd tanks in 1960 .Troop leader was David Malom the troop seargeant was a geordie the cpl was Doc Doughty and I was a sig. drvr.I was known as scouse. The squadron leader was major Adison and the ssm was Cranfield.Ive already been around the website a couple of times and recognised quite a few guys. Hope someone out there remembers me. thanks Terry!!

Hi Ya Terry and welcome to site. The troop Sgt for 9 troop was Sgt Bill Reid. The L/Cpl for 9 troop was Tim O'Callahan. All other names are correct. Story about SSM Ken " Sticks " Cranfield:- I was at the door of C squadron hangers watching a lite snowfall when he came around the corner at the cook house end and shouted to me:- "Trooper, get a brush and pick that snow up before it melts and runs down the drain." When I asked him to repeat the order he said " You Heard " and walked away swinging his pace stick. Never ever found out if he was kidding or not. Geordie Bob Young.
