11 members present which is not bad at all for what is traditionally the branch meeting with the lowest attendence figure of the year. There are 3 main reasons for this, Colds/Flu, cold weather, and holidays in warmer climates. A fourth reason is an ongoing reason and actually demonstrates the strength of the branch, that is work commitments from the large percentage of members that are below the state retirement age. Loyal Toast/The Regiment, Green Fields and Welfare items were all done and dusted. Minutes of the November meeting were seen and accepted. Thank you letters from our Ladies lunch guests were read out. Advance notice of the November Cenotaph parade was given as was notice of the RTRA AGM on the same day. Details of the annual RTR sponsored Church service and Curry Lunch were given and the attendance list started. Members were informed that a visit to the Badger Brewery in Blandford is being considered. The RTR car freshners have arrived are now available from the treasurer. Copies of the 2015 address list are now available. Those wanting to were invited to place orders for the RTR badged poppy brooch. No guest speaker is arranged for February due to the expected low attendence figures, and the Chairman then closed the meeting.
