As a Weymouth branch is now not going to be created, and Ron McCarthy has become the first Weymouth resident to Join the Bournemouth & Poole branch, I would urge those of you who live in Weymouth to also consider joining the Bournemouth & Poole branch. As the monthly reports show, it is a fairly active branch and is not too far away from Weymouth. It is within walking distance of Parkstone Train Station, which would allow for the consumption of alcohol. Also if a group comes by car then only the nominated driver need refrain from drinking. The Ex servicemen's club at Parkstone is a member of CAMRA and aways has a fine selection of real ale. Not everone comes to every meeting so don't think you have to turn up for every branch meeting. Possesion of an RTRA membership card also gives you free entry to the tank Museum. So come on Weymouth, you know you want to?
