Hi, have been watching the site for quite a few weeks now (without registering) and have read with interest some of the guests comments. So, obviously the negative guests that think the site is too quiet are actually interested otherwise they wouldn't even had looked, perhaps they're like me and have just been sitting waiting for someone else to do the work. Today, I decided to register as I know we have quite a few photos which I think other members/guests would find interesting and amusing. I'll make a determined effort to sit down and sort them out, so just keep watching the site and you might find a few which could possibly ring bells and perhaps entice other people to join in!? By the way, I'm Toptossers wife who was in the 3RTR during the 70's.

Well, at least all this talk about whether or not the forum has enough going on has had the effect of having some conversation take place! Might be a good idea if we could share a few memories instead of worrying about a few comments. Who remembers Winsen Aller (not sure if I've spelt that right!), Fallingbostel, Tidworth, Warminster, Paderborn? In the space of nine years, from 1971 to 1980 we spent some time in quarters at all of them. Anybody else there during this time?

BTW nice tits! ;D Just bumped into this site whilst on my lunch break & I must say it's quite interesting I can see that you are all ex tank soldiers that are trying to stay in touch, marvellous idea. But don't you ever meet up for a drink every now & again, I thought all you soldier types liked the odd tipple & did some good parties, or is that an image that has been put around by the press I 'am a bit worried of being a bit critical, like that other person Cunning Stunt, it appears he has taken a bit of 'Flak' for no apparent reason. I'am sure you are all grown up's with a lifetime of experiances & have had a fun dig at one another. Maybe CS has had or had a difficult time at one time or another from someone on this site. And this may be the only way he can feel equal and secure in the knowledge that he/she will not be made to feel small & unimportant I may join as a full time member but I do not have a millitary backround if that is ok I do like our countries military people & those who work for them. BTW I agree with CS on that ladies naughty avatar, is that allowed

Nice to see non-army members taking interest in the RTR, I don't know about everyone else but I should think the more the merrier and yes I agree too much criticism about comments can only put people off. I read my own comment again today and realised it too might have sounded like criticism which isn't what I personally meant, only that sometimes it takes a while for people to feel they want to join in with banter and conversation - true in my case! I know I'm the sort of person who can just sit back and watch the forum rather than participate. Sorry to Cunning Stunt if I too sounded like I was having a go, wasn't meant to sound like that.
Time to leave this particular subject alone now, enough said methinks!!!!
